Glulam timber frames from Germany finally being assembled on site in the Philippines. Loving the silhouette effect of the building profile against the volcano in the backdrop.
To provide some scale and idea of the geometry, the perimeter edge beam curves in two directions, i.e. in plan and in elevation to create a ‘wave’ effect of the roof form. All to sacred Phi proportions.
Took some effort to source suppliers from across the world and in Australia. Beautiful material and an amazing space being formed up. Exciting
